Deal OR no deal !!

What the deal for the day? is the new buzz world in the newly evolved E commerce world. While everyone is running behind it very few would understand the business and actually would made some sense around in the longer run. The current run is far from scalability and is trying hard in JUST proving the fact the deals sell. Come on its 2 years already now and we already know that products and deal sell online but what next?
It takes a simple common sense to wonder that why the deals site kept posting only limited numbers of deals on their home page. While they spend millions to get that audience who left after viewing, simply since the deal which was on display was not the product the end user for looking for. A simple categorization and putting multiple deals in each category would have simply solved the problem, and could have generated user stickiness to the brand/ concept.

Why the deals site are so much against the concept of free listing. After all if you list all deals from a city with minimum profits coming to your pockets, would'nt it make an ecosystem where in users would love to shop and revisit. The deal site anyways would have multiple ways to make money along with enough time to churn it in future. First they should ensure repeat audience.

Last and the most important. What do i do with your unsold hotel inventory, non used Spa services or food vouchers from food joints which anyways do not sell. Come on there are loads of interesting deals in the markets , and companies are dying to have an extra avenue to sell it.

Till such things happen the deal business i far from scalability and its just a good concept which people are only excited about it working. How much sense it makes to the business and the investors is still a mystery. Deals business can not sustain in the longer run with nichje market size, it has to cater to masses and thats where the scalability is.
So is it Deal OR no deal.

Fraud ways to meet the timely landing targets at Indigo Airline India

I had booked a ticket with Indigo on 22nd June from Srinagar to Delhi, India. Flight # 6E- 552.

When the flight was booked the timing of the flight was 14:10  departure from Srinagar airport. Which later on calling the the Indigo # 18001803838 to enquire about the status of the flight they gave me and entirely new timing for the flight. Just an act only made me believe that to meet its strict on time arrival targets Indigo simple cancels the flight and introduces a new flight with a different number with new timing whereby making a new timing,

The difference of timing between the 2 flight was 3-4 hours which further strengthens my doubt that such dubious act is done at Indigo to maintain there ontime claim.

Safe guard yourself the next time you plan to chose Indigo for its hoax ON TIME claim.
